Canon Extender EF 1.4x III

Great addition when using with my Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L II IS USM. Quality is only impacted in a very minimal way when comparing to the same lens without the extender.

Probably lost a couple of f stops at the full extension and autofocus is slightly slower.

I am not qualified to test this equipment fully but it does not seem to have affected the image quality. Also it does not appear to have reduced the amount of light getting to the camera sensor noticeably.

Works very well with the Canon 100-400 f4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens. Images are sharp

Small and light.

Doesn't fit the L series 70 -300 mm lens. Check compatible fitting before you buy.

Does exactly what you would expect from a piece of Canon Kit. Use with my 7D Mark2 and 100-400 Canon Lens. Fits together easily. Autofocus works smoothly. Good quality images.

Price! But then again it's Canon quality.

Very useful extra reach with little loss of image quality. Good build quality and easy to swap on and off.

You get what you pay for but it is expensive.
