Good image quality, still gives autofocus at f/5.6 and, with a little help, even at f/8 with my Canon 70-300mm l lens on a Canon 5D mark iii.

Hard to think of any. I have both the 1.4x and the 2x Extender Pro and both are of excellent optical and build quality.
