We bought this lens for our Nikon D7000 which is used mainly by my wife. She doesn't want the hassle of changing lenses so this is ideal. If you shoot in RAW, as we both do, then distortion is corrected in post processing so is a non issue (for us)....

Far better than I expected. Wonderfully sharp photos. May never change the lens apart from trying out a couple of primes!

Takes pin sharp photos,excellent for nature photography. I am disappointed there is no infinity marks for manual focus, which I find an inconvenience for night and low light shots, also the focus ring is very 'slack' and therefore can easily be moved...
