The AF-S Nikkor 24mm f/1.8G ED is another excellent lens in Nikon's low-cost f/1.8G prime series.

Very sharp. Minimal distortion. Focuses to 9.1 inches.

Dim corners at wide apertures. Omits vibration reduction.

Lightweight , super sharp, good contrast. Un believable image quality for the money. Good in poor light , easy to control dof. Great walk about lens.

This lens has a fairly quiet focus, great depth of field giving a nice bokeh effect, and given it's price - some nice sharp images. The lens itself is light weight and fits nicely in your pocket if needed to. Great quality for video when camera is...

There is no VR (vibration reduction) built into this lens which I didn't think about when purchasing. I wanted this lens primarily for video. However, the footage is far too shakey without an image stabiliser or gimbal so I certainly wouldn't recommend...
