A solid lens

I use this lens when travelling with a one body, one lens combo, as it's fast, reliable, and I find the 40mm (equivalent) focal length a great halfway between a wide angle and portrait lens. I have seen some minor CA around the edges on high contrast...

Not Great

As much as I wanted to love this lens I ended up selling it. I used it on an OM-D E-M10 and it is sharp, amazingly so. The thing that made it unusable for me was the chromatic aberrations. They were so bad that correcting them in Lightroom caused quite...

Panasonic 20mm f1.7 Pancake

Really nice image quality, and easy to attach.

Obviously the lens doesn't zoom

Panasonic 20mm f1.7 Pancake

Optically perfect - very sharp image at all apertures. Perfect for using in poorly-lit indoor situations - f1.7 makes a lot of moody non-flash photography possible, as well as very satisfying images with the subject in sharp focus and the background...

No anti-shake system - so you have to get used to holding the camera very steady in low-light situations....just as you would with fondly-remembered 35mm SLRs.

Panasonic 20mm f1.7 Pancake

Lightweight and easy to use pancake lens with very good image quality.

Rather delayed focus comparing with Olympus 17mm 2.8 on Olympus bodies
