Great price-to-features ratio; clean, TV-based user interface; streams digital audio, Internet radio, video, and photos; ultrasimple setup.

No built-in wireless networking; lacks support for HD video, Rhapsody, and PlaysForSure WMA files; won't let you sort music files by artist, title, album, or genre; no Mac support.

For less than $100, you can't get a better digital media receiver than the Hauppauge MediaMVP.

Ever buy a product with a defensively optimistic attitude: "It may not be much good, but at least it's cheap"?
