Added a Blu-Ray recorder drive in the expansion slot, like I said this PC has the speed to run high processor demand programs with speed.

Excellent HTPC, love the ease of recording programs, much better than DVR, great PC, very fast running video recording programs from my video camera. The included remote operates all my video componets, big plus

As with others HP tech support sucks, they know nothing. Blu-Ray playback uses a different program than DVD playback, something that can be fixed but HP hasn't yet, I have a HP laptop that uses only one program for both Blu-Ray and DVD

Great Media Center / TV Tuner Issue Resolved

I would have given this a five rating if it wasn't for HP's horrible tech support and that the wireless that HP installed in the system interfered with the TV tuner.

This machine has plenty of power and memory to become my home media center. It has HDMI output so I can connect it directly to my HDTV. It has a Blu-ray disc reader so I don't have to use my PS3 anymore for HD movies. It has a remote control for Vista...

HP tech support is horrible. They don't know anything about the systems. They are only going by scripts

A lot of hardware - it needs a little software tuning

It is a desktop that has all I need. The Vista Windows Experience score is 5.6, due to the video card score of 5.6 as all other components scored a 5.9.

A lot of technology that can keep you busy understanding all that is available if you want - or you can leave it alone

I ran into similiar TV tuner issues that a prior reviewer had with analog TV signals getting out of synch every minute. After spending a lot of time trying to resolve the problem, the problem is fixed. Turns out the problem is not with the tuner card...

I still don't have the tuner working to my satisfaction. If I hook my analog to the ATSC tuner input, I get ONLY the HDTV channels. If I hook to the NTSC tuner input, I get ONLY the analog channels. Apparently, I need to put a splitter on the coax and...
