I had this blender for 5 days before it started leaking a grey oily substance from the bottom of the jug ,I took it back because I was concerned that this substance was going into my smoothies, it did make very smooth smoothies though !

Bought for making cocktails! Sadly it is rubbish at crushing ice you need to either have or buy crushed ice to put into it as it cannot break down a standard ice cube without difficulty - I can imagine the motor will last any length of time
