Acer B273HU

The B273HU comes with a three-year warranty covering parts, labor, and backlighting and ships with DVI, USB, and D-sub (VGA) cables. Unfortunately, an HDMI cable is not included in the box.

Great price. Very good text and color quality. Built-in USB hub

So-so light grayscale performance. No pivot adjustment

If you're in the market for a big-screen desktop display that delivers great color, excellent text reproduction, and some nice ergonomic and connectivity features, the affordably priced Acer B273HU is one of the best deals around.

GCN Lab Review: Acer B273HU LCD monitor

The Acer B273HU, a 27-inch LCD with a surprisingly low price, did well enough at every task to make it a good value for anyone who wants to upgrade to a huge screen without breaking the bank.

Text display is merely adequate, reds are slightly orange

Nice monitor

If you want a bigger monitor with a 1080p resolution thats good for gaming and you want a very adjustable stand, this is a wise choice

I like this monitor. I went from a 22" LG @ 1680x1050. I was afraid that the pixel density would be a problem. I don't sit that far away from it and its not that bad, but you can still tell that there is less pixel density. I wanted a bigger monitor...

A couple issues. Obviously the pixel density isn't the best, and there is some back light bleeding at the bottom of the display, but after having it on for some hours it seem to go away a little bit...I don't know how but it did

Not as good as the first

This is a great height adjustable monitor for the price, it's just that sometimes monitors are not all the exact same, even though the same model. I guess you have to get lucky to find a flawless low-cost monitor.

Pretty much the same as my first review. Has a good stand for the price. As of today any other 27" monitor with a height adjustment, tilt, and swivel would run double the money. The picture is decent

This one doesn't have as good of a clear picture. I can see the pixels within a solid color, and they look jaggedy. The closer you are to the screen the worse it gets. Maybe it has something to do with the anti-glare coating. Not sure what it is, my...

Good for the Money

Now that I've seen it, I am going to buy another.

Good picture, clear, color seems accurate. Great price. The height adjustable stand goes pretty low, very nice. It has a nice non-glossy and small outer-edge, so it works well with dual monitors ; 1920 x 1080

There's a blue bleed that goes up about a half-inch from the bottom of the screen when viewing pure black. I use this monitor specifically for Microsoft Windows, so there is always a menu bar on the bottom, no big deal. A 16:9 movie watcher might find...

Great Monitor

Bought the 2048x1152 version about 9 months ago. Decided I wanted to replace my Samsung 24" with another one as a second. Turned out that they don't make the old version anymore. So ended up getting a pair of the 1080 screens and gave the other one to...

Great color, brightness and resolution. Nice and big, you need to have plenty of viewing distance and desk space

Wish they still make the 2048x1152 version

Awesome

Awesome picture. Does everything it should with regards to its specifications. Perfect size for utilizing split screen in windows 7, a smaller 22'' monitor just isn't wide enough

Bit bulky on the depth side but that is due to the built in speakers. Speakers are a bit quiet for built in speakers, but you are getting a monitor first and foremost

Doesn't do 2048x1200. But does 2048x1152

Monitor does 2048x1152 over DVI. You only get 1920x1080 over HDMI. Adjustable height and swivel is a big plus

Not really a con but this monitor makes a low whiney noise when I'm on websites with slide shows. Of course, the speakers aren't that great. I never use then though

DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! Not as many pixels...

OK so do NOT be fooled by the above review. This thing does NOT have 2048x1200 pixels. It is 1920x1080. It's on this site, its on the manufacturer's website! Chances are the reviewer didn't know. We live in an era where the new thing is 1080. With a...

Big monitor. Not too expensive really. Nice thing to look at at work

Pixels are bigger than average

Great Monitor

Go big or go home. Speakers are average for a monitor, not very loud, but if you wanted loud you wouldn't be listening to your monitor speakers anyways.

Large Screen (You need to sit at least 2 feet away from this monitor). Quality is great, no dead pixels, 2048 x 1200 resolution. It has a stable base (and I have it sitting on a card table)

Like any large LCD, it has a slight bit of light bleed through, nothing that would discourage me from buying another monitor
