Buyer Beware!!

Sharp colors. Easy to setup

Poor warranty. Monitor failed twice. Once under panel warranty, second time within 9 months of first repair ; Second problem identical to first. The first repair did not take and AOC wants replacement cost to repair the monitor. Monitor still within...

Great Bang For The Buck

When I fired this monitor up didn't have one bad pixel. The monitor this replaced was a 19" Norsent 1280 x 1024 max res and this AOC blows it out of the water. My games never looked so good, never knew what I was missing.Anyway stop looking and BUY this...

I was very impressed with the build quality. This unit looks and feels like a monitor twice it's price.Beautiful shiny black bezel with a brushed aluminum control panel.Trust me the pictures do not do it justice.Performance wise the picture is sharp and...

Good Monitor

I don't know why people have given this monitor such low ratings. The first one I bought from staples had a dead pixel near the middle of the screen. I returned it and got another one and haven't had any problems after that.

For its size, it has great color and response time. One of my favorite monitors I have ever owned

The button on the front for settings is a little annoying but no reason not to buy this monitor

What is with the bad reviews?

I did not buy this from Newegg. The reviews on the other website are much better than on here, so I can't help but wonder if Newegg just simply got a bad batch?

22", 1680x1050, DCR. It looks really nice. Haven't had any problems so far ; I do not see what all the bad reviews are about

The only bad thing I can say is that it did not come with a DVI cable, only VGA ; I got it for an external display for my laptop anyway, so I didn't need the DVI cable

What's that smell? Uh oh....

The Universe is punishing me for getting a good deal. Haven't RMA'd it yet. Will see what happens in the days to come. My first AOC product, will now see if its my last. You might want to buy the extended warranty for this guys.

Nice, clear pic

The "uh oh"....an electrical burning smell. It's now dead. (display turn white) And only after 4 1/2 months of use

Dead Pixels

My other LCD is an AOC, and it has outlasted other LCD's that I had. I'm hoping that this is just a case of unlucky manufacturing defects and that the replacement will more than suffice.

This isn't a bad price for a 22" LCD, and the color contrast, as high as it is, is quite excellent

Rated one star, because unfortunately, the display arrived with many dead pixels. There was one 3x3 square of dead pixels, and quite a few were scattered diagonally across the screen. The display is currently in RMA for a replacement ; Assuming that I...

AOC 2217V

I should have waited and not purchased one of these. Now I have an extra monitor.

Inexpensive 22" monitor with a decent picture

For the same price one can purchase another product that displays full 1080p at 1920x1080. The AOC 2217V has a maximum resolution of 1680 x 1050. The AOC cannot be used as a HDTV monitor with a cable or a satellite box while the others that I mentioned...
