Asus ZenScreen Go (MB16AP) Review

Built-in battery. ; 1080p IPS screen. ; Detailed, easily navigable OSD. ; Protective cover doubles as foldable stand.

Somewhat dull colors.

The Asus ZenScreen Go (MB16AP), a 15.6-inch portable monitor, has a built-in battery to keep it from draining the laptop or other mobile device it's attached to. Only a slightly muted panel keeps it from top marks.

Asus ZenScreen Touch (MB16AMT)

The wisely designed Asus ZenScreen Touch brings touch-input capability, flexible stand options, and an on-the-go internal battery to a 15.6-inch mobile monitor, topping the field.

Gesture-based multi-touch and stylus input. Built-in battery. Comprehensive, easy-to-navigate menus, with mini-joystick for navigation. Good brightness and contrast ratio. Built-in speakers.

Pricey for a mobile monitor. Somewhat dull colors. Limited touch support for use with Macs, and none for iOS devices.

Bottom Line: The wisely designed Asus ZenScreen Touch brings touch-input capability, flexible stand options, and an on-the-go internal battery to a 15.6-inch mobile monitor, topping the field.

ASUS ZenScreen Touch MB16AMT Review

The ASUS ZenScreen Touch MB16AMT is a passable 15.6 inch portable monitor. The stand-out feature of this monitor is the 10-point touchscreen, allowing you to tap...

1080p resolution delivers clear text and images. Comes with a built-in battery. Good reflection handling. Low input lag.

No VRR support and limited 60Hz refresh rate. Viewing angles are worse than most IPS panels. Colors look washed out due to narrow color gamut. Slow response time makes motion look blurry. Doesn't get very bright. Low contrast ratio.

The ASUS ZenScreen Touch MB16AMT is a passable portable monitor. It's designed for on-the-go use as a secondary screen, so it doesn't perform like standard monitors. It's okay for office use thanks to its good reflection handling and excellent text...

ASUS ZenScreen Go MB16AHP Review

The ASUS ZenScreen Go MB16AHP is a mediocre portable monitor. It's very similar to the ASUS ZenScreen MB14AC but with a built-in 7800mAh rechargeable battery, wh...

High pixel density. Low input lag. Great build quality.

Slow response time. Not bright enough to overcome intense glare. No VRR support. Colors look washed out from the side. Narrow color gamut.

The ASUS MB16AHP is mediocre for most uses. It's best suited for displaying text documents because it has a narrow color gamut that makes it unsuitable for content creation. It's also not a good choice for gaming because it has a 60Hz refresh rate,...

The ASUS ZenScreen Go MB16AWP attempts class in a portable monitor – we tested it

Could the ASUS ZenScreen Go MB16AWP be the ultimate take-anywhere monitor?

Lots of inputs ; Includes battery ; Sharp picture quality

Not that bright ; Thicker than other portable displays ; High price

A portable monitor like this can make working outside the office a much more pleasant experience and doesn’t take up much space in your bag. A battery, wireless connection, and small speakers round out the package nicely.

Asus ZenScreen Touch MB16AMT review: Checking off all the boxes

The Asus ZenScreen Touch is a pricey portable display aimed at productivity. Let's see how well it hits the mark in our review.

Outstanding design ; Thunderbolt 3 support ; Folio stand case and stylus pen come included ; Simple menus ; Contrast ratio and brightness are good enough for productivity ; IPS display has great viewing angles ; Battery life is decent ; Speakers ;...

SRGB is very average resulting in muted, dull colors ; Can't use Thunderbolt 3 and charge the device at the same time ; Up to double the price of some competitors

The Asus ZenScreen Touch MB16AMT is a capable portable display. You get all of the niceties like a touchscreen, Thunderbolt 3, speakers, a folio case, a stylus (that is also a ballpoint pen), and a truly striking design. It's a productivity machine and...
