BenQ EL2870U

Budget-friendly and FreeSync-capable, the 28-inch EL2870U exhibits fast pixel response and minimal input lag that make fast-motion graphics a breeze, but it has some trouble with colors.

UHD (Ultra High Definition) resolution. Supports HDR content. Modest price. Very fast pixel response. Low input lag.

Mediocre color performance. Few ports, and poorly placed. Stand allows for tilt adjustment only.

Bottom Line: Budget-friendly and FreeSync-capable, the 28-inch EL2870U exhibits fast pixel response and minimal input lag that make fast-motion graphics a breeze, but it has some trouble with colors.

BenQ EL2870U Review

The BenQ EL2870U is a decent 4k monitor. It has great gaming features, including FreeSync support, a fast response time, and excellent low input lag. It also has...

BenQ EL2870U review

Paper beats consumer

1ms response time is good for console gamers ; Good quality build ; Pricing could sway many

Near negligible HDR performance ; 4K is not appealing due to poor colour accuracy

A decent attempt to rouse spec readers but not enough quality to convince us

Best in its price range

Great HDR feature that is compatible with the ps4 pro, easy to setup, adjustable stand, vibrant colours. Smooth and crisp picture. Bonus: Also Has a setting that automatically adjusts brightness depending on background lighting. Would highly recommend.

4K 28inch BenQ monitor with emulated HDR

Don't get me wrong, it's an excellent 4K set. Been used for a couple of weeks now and it really is a decent monitor. However, my only gripe is that the HDR isn't advertised anywhere as “emulated”, the box when it arrives even states HDR on the front,...

Not what it says on the description!

Bought this to play on my PlayStation 4. Already have a big screen but decided to get a small 4k but when connecting I discovered that the 4k is emulated and the PlayStation doesn't even register the screen as HDR compatible, shocking for the price and...

I'm a pro gamer and to tell you the truth, for the price this monitor does enough, great crispy graphics and colours. Highly recommended.

Works great with Xbox one x and works great as a 2nd monitor for editing!

Lovely - But not true 4K

I brought this monitor thinking it was true 4k UHD, to then find out that there is not 4K and that the UHD part of it is only emulated. But the monitor is beautiful and the picture is really nothing to complain about. Although not true 4K, it's still...
