Husband's broke within the first month, although he did drop it. Mine broke while in my bag -- no trauma -- after four months. The lower corners broke off in both instances.

The monitor is great for the price. It is a good quality picture and is nice and sharp. The resolution is 1080 p and is a good quality. This product is what you'd expect from a quality brand like Samsung for a great price.
