Dell UltraSharp U3415W review

Robust build quality ; Ergonomic VESA stand ; High contrast ratio ; Good overall image quality

Modest color accuracy for the price ; Some backlight bleed ; Expensive

Dell’s U3415W is the best 21:9 monitor we’ve tested so far. It offers superior contrast to the LG 34UC97, and while it falls a bit behind in color accuracy, it’s otherwise on par. The stand is superior, too, which makes it better suited for the...

Dell UltraSharp U3415W

The Dell UltraSharp U3415W is a huge, 34-inch, curved-screen monitor that delivers outstanding performance and is packed with features.

Accurate colors. Sharp gray-scale. Powerful audio. Lots of features.

Expensive. No side-mounted USB ports.

Conclusion Whether you're looking to replace your dual-monitor setup with a massive ultra-wide monitor or want to bring the curved-screen experience to your desktop, the Dell UltraSharp U3415W is an excellent choice. Granted, you'll pay a premium for...

Dell UltraSharp U3415W Monitor Review

Wiiiiiiidescreen. Widescreen monitors are the latest trend. With a resolution of 3440x1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:9, Dell aims to be in the forefront with the U3415W, which attracts both, multimedia enthusiasts and office users alike. We take...

After finishing the review of the Dell UltraSharp U3415W monitor, we can draw a positive conclusion. Not only the look and the haptics are good, the features and the performance are also decent. The supported interfaces (MHL, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort...

Dell U3415W 34-Inch Ultra-Wide Curved Monitor Review

Part of Dell's UltraSharp line, the U3415W is a premium product that promises high performance — and it's priced accordingly. Does it keep that promise?

Out-of-box accuracy • Brightness • Sharpness • Full-featured OSD • Build quality • Screen real estate • Curved screen • Input lag • Viewing angle

Minor gamma flaws

Curved monitors may still leave some buyers scratching their heads but in our opinion, they’re quite useful and worth the extra money. The U3415W offers quality and accuracy that easily justify its price so we consider the ultra-wide aspect and curved...

Hands on: Dell UltraSharp U3415W curved monitor January 19th, 2015 | by Alfred Siew Imaging 15

The curved screen works in a very wide display meant for the desktop. This is an excellent screen from Dell.

Absolutely Awesome!

I bought two of these for myself & my wife as combined christmas & birthday gifts, we are both happy camps now. WE LOVE Them! Sale price rocked too.

Heavy duty construction, awesome clarity, multiple interface options, multiple cables included, superb packaging, this is a wow in every way.

The only minor complaint I can possible squeeze out is the difficultly in connection to the built in usb 3 hub, it is on the back under a cover plate that is difficult to access without turning the monitor around.

My Best Monitor Ever

I would definitely recommend this monitor. I love the wide form factor and high resolution. Make sure you have an appropriate video card.

I got this on sale! I love the UWQHD resolution I still use a second monitor, but it is largely unnecessary Beautiful picture

Expensive. (But less than some of my previous smaller monitors.)

Dell support is completely useless

This is the last product I buy from dell unless they buck up and send me a new unit to replace mine. For this being their "premium" line of monitors the support is abysmal and the staff is untrained and uneducated on current warranty information. Id...

The monitor looks great but once something goes wrong with it dell could care less about this product unless you explicitly ordered it from then.

Dell support is completely worthless. The monitor had two dead pixels after about 2 months. I called dell support and after being hung up, transfered to incorrect dept, and told incorrect warranty information about the monitor I finally got a customer...

Great Coding Monitor! Better choice than a 4K or 2x24" setup

I found the height of the panel about on par with a 24". The stand raises and lowers about 4-5" which is great depending on your desk and chair heights--other monitors skip this feature. The width (32.47") of the monitor is less overall than double 24"...

* Great Screen real estate for tiling windows. I tile 3 vertically across (Browser, Editor, Terminal) * Great panel. The curve may not be necessary, but it isn't severe enough to distract. * Adjusts up/down about 4.5"; Swivels about 30-degrees...

* While it works with my 2012 Mac Mini (Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB graphics, the mini doesn't always initialize it properly on boot. I need to switch the resolution, then switch it back, and it is fine afterwards. Still, I was surprised the basic...

Could not admire this monitor more!

I was hesitant to make this purchase because I had my eye on a color calibrated 32" 4k screen and thought I would miss the vertical real estate(which I do, but rarely). I moved and needed to switch my home office to a smaller space where my 3 vertical...

SO accurate. This beats every LCD screen I've owned. My old and expensive SGi CRT wasn't even this good in its day. 0 issues. No dead or stuck pixels. No light bleed. No dings, scratches, imperfections of any kind. It's a wonderful size for a single...

The arrange options are not quite as seamless as they could be. Windows 10 more or less does a better job than the Dell software. This isn't really a con. Windows 10 nails it. Wacom/Graphics tablet users may have some issues. I setup a screen lock to...
