FPD1975W

The Gateway FPD1975W is cheap, but you'll need to settle for average image quality and shell out for extras (like a DVI cable) that should come standard.

Bundled display setting software Clean design

Average performance Extras unreasonably increase cost

The price-to-performance ratio of the Gateway FPD1975W seems a bit unfavorable to me. A built-in adjustable stand and bundled DVI cable would make it a better value

Gateway FPD1975W

The Gateway FPD1975W is a serviceable, reasonably priced 19-inch LCD monitor with a high-res widescreen.

Affordable. Good small-text reproduction.

Weak grayscale performance. Adjustable stand costs extra. One-year warranty.

Gateway FPD1975W 19-Inch Widescreen LCD Monitor Review and Prices

The FPD1975W is Gateway's entry into the 19-inch widescreen display market. Until recently, most widescreen desktop displays were 21 inches or larger, but 19-inch models are now becoming more commonly available. Gateway touts the FPD1975W as an...

Gateway FPD1975W 19in LCD monitor review

The Gateway FPD1975W is cheap, but you'll need to settle for average image quality and shell out for extras (like a DVI cable) that should come standard.

The price-to-performance ratio of the Gateway FPD1975W seems a bit unfavourable to me. A built-in adjustable stand and bundled DVI cable would make it a better value.

The Gateway FPD1975W's image quality is average, and you'll have to pay extra for a DVI cable and adjustable stand.

Nice Monitor

I have had this Gateway monitor for about a year now. After I finally got it all installed -it has been great. I don't personally recommend EZtune software that comes with it as it apparently didn't like my video card and before I figured all that out,...

Stuck Pixel, Common "feature"?

My five year old Gateway monitor died. I needed a new one. I shopped all the computer stores yesterday and settled on the Gateway FPD1975W. Gateway is my computer company of choice, so finding a 19" one on sale for $219 was excellent. As soon as I ...

Good, but getting some odd behavior

I bought this monitor about a month ago from Best Buy at the old price of $270. Not a bad price at the time, but it's almost a no-brainer now at the new $230 price. I'm currently using the VGA input on mine for general PC usage. I've tried the DVI ...
