Would not Recommend

I wish I could return this and get my $$ back or rate it as 0eggs since I now own it. Shipping and delivery from New Egg was excellent.

It is very portable and is easy to carry. It folds up in a nice folder style case

USB interface is horrible. My Wife uses this for spreadsheet. The screen size doesn't stay constant. If you use recommended screen size graphics are distorted. It works bad with both Internal Intel Graphics Chipset along with an Nvidia card. This...

Nice in theory, works well when it works

Monitor broke. Spoke with HP. This is a disposable unit. They won't repair it. Less than one year of use. It's a $100 paperweight. Unfortunate that HP has no means to repair screen, even with charges to customer

Not entirely satisfied

I use the monitor pretty much as a secondary for my laptop, when I do use it. It's fairly useful in that regard. I give it two eggs, simply because it doesn't do what I had expected it to do initially, but that could also be due to a lack of proper and...

Usable monitor that does actually work and display decent image, considering you're usring a USB

Doesn't sync with the BIOS, meaning you remove the option of modifying anything with it and are forced to simply use the computer for little else other than logging into your operating system. For the average user, I don't see this being a problem, but...

CHIPSET specific

Newegg..... this is the very first time you have left me disappointed. Something about the chipset incompatibility should have been listed in large print or at least listed. For testing purposes the monitor was reunited with it's first mate and still...

It is well built, I am not a die hard HP customer but they obviously can produce quality electronics and inks worth their weight in gold. I purchased for the obvious reason, portability and it is all that. The case is sturdy, and seconds as a stand

They point this out up front, the low resolution. Looking at a HD screen for hours a day and then working with this monitor as an extended desktop while using my laptop is a little disappointing and makes the resolution that much more notice able ; I...

Quality Control Issues

Apart from the defects I'm happy with the 7 that don't look like they are defective. I have one that I carry around with me when I'm traveling and the leather casing is superb, it kicks right on and despite lower resolution, it looks good.

Great display capable of being powered over one USB port. The leather case is solid, looks good, feels good, and couples as a stand. Despite the lower resolution, it still looks good at closer viewing distance. Viewing angle hasn't been an issue either

I had another branded portable monitor in my hands before and it had a small sleeve in the hinge to carry the USB cable. This one does not ; Quality control seems to be an issue ; I would love to give this monitor four or five stars but I just cannot...
