Brilliant purchase

Still, 5 eggs for the picture quality... ESP at this price.

Clear picture, BRILLIANT price ; As millions of the other reviews state, you can easily remove the "cover up" of the rebranding. Just be patient when it comes to removing the black marker lines

Glossy screen causes a little mirroring, but not worth an egg ; No sound input/speakers - which I don't think was stated on the features ; DOES NOT TILT OR SWIVEL AS STATED. Not a bother for my use, but others may buy on the back of this feature

It's great.

Very pleased. For the money it's excellent.

Picture quality is excellent. Dynamic range is great, very sharp, brightness is even across the display. I don't game so ghosting is nonissue for me. Colors are beautiful. Unit looks good and the build quality is decent enough. No dead...

Screen is extremely reflective. Not a problem in my workspace but it'd be unusable in certain situations. Shipping carton was flimsy, although unit arrived with no issues

Pretty good deal, BUT...

Not a bad deal with the $20 rebate and $18 discount using Visa Checkout. Remove 2 stickers and a little rubbing alcohol and you have a nice HP monitor!

Beautiful screen, super skinny bezel, thin profile, HDMI input, good price

Contrary to description, monitor DOES NOT PIVOT or SWIVEL ; No VESA mounting

Amazing value, no dead pixels

Stunning display and no dead pixels! A bit of isopropanol assisted in un-debranding the monitor

Can't get used to TN monitors anymore :D

Stunning Upgrade

My old Samsung 22" wide screen started flickering on and off. It was time for a replacement and I scored a huge deal on this one. Best purchase in a long time so far. Not the fastest monitor out there but I don't notice any ghosting. Perhaps if you're...

Bright and clear. Huge size and a decent upgrade in resolution from my old monitor. AND it consumes 1/2 the wattage because it runs on LEDs

The de-branding stickers are a little ugly but, like me, you may find a way to 'upgrade' your look

hp27xi debranded

some people cringe at 1080p on a 27" monitor but I think its better for those with poor vision since everything is bigger. Also I game from time to time so I don't need a monster video card to drive a 1440p display and 1080p is just fine in gaming....

This is a steal at $145 shipped after rebate and amex promo ; thin bezels and overall design give it a modern look ; hidden touch activated OSD controls as well as software based controls ; bigger than my 25" HP 2511x TN panel it replaced ; amazing...

not really a con but screen is too bright at default 90% so now its lowered to 60% which is easier on the eyes...100% is like looking at the sun (j/k) but you get my drift ; some ips glow on the lower right and left corners on black background but this...

Quite a value

Since it's a refurb you'll want to check carefully for stuck pixels and the like, but outside of a few scuffs I found no issues. I loved my 25" one at home so much that I bought this one for design duties at work, and have not been disappointed. I'd...

Excellent color and viewing angles. Easy to set up and get running. Very easy on the eyes (if you get headaches from a higher resolution, this is the 27" monitor for you). The calibration tools available for this monitor are leaps and bounds better...

Has the usual ugly "debranding" stickers, but you knew that when you bought it. Some goo-gone and elbow grease can fix that. Packaging is absolutely bare-bones, no included software or even setup instructions. I had no issues because I'd recently...

No issues

Looks great with Skyrim, Deadpool, Diablo3, and other games with no noticeable ghosting. I am also not seeing the issues with glare that others are seeing ; No dead pixels. I wish I would have purchased 2 now
