Great Monitor!

Wish they provided a driver for the dual link DVI cable issue. Was able to work around it, just something I have to remember next graphics card or another computer.

- Monitor worked beautifully out of the box on HDMI. Very WIDE! - HDMI cable also carries *sound*. - Very excellent for document and code editing...one document left, one right, and then hook up a second monitor for the browser. - Liked the "joystick"...

- The stand sits a bit low. I had to place a unused book under to raise to an acceptable height for my desk. - The monitor had issues detecting two of my DVI Dual Link cable to enabled 2560x1080 resolution at 60 Hz. Know the cables are good since they...

Excellent Choice

This is an affordable large monitor and I'm using it for web design. Super clarity. The sound output is also really good for a monitor. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

No cons

Mostly Great

This was actually only about a couple inches wider than the "Acer H274HLBMID Black 27"" that it replaced, but the bezel is thinner, giving me a several inches more real estate width-wise. Comes preconfigured at 100% brightness...headache city until I...

Wide (obviously) Natively splits left / right between two separate inputs if you choose Two HDMI, one DisplayPort, and other stuff I haven't looked at yet. Great colors Excellent price at under $300. Audio and the joystick-control (when connected via...

Image is actually slightly cut off at the bottom--subtitles are partly chopped. This is worth losing an egg over. No vertical adjustment on the stand; getting a VESA mount to lift it a few inches.

regret buying the 29" but otherwise great monitor

overall I love this monitor the res and quality of image make it the best monitor that I have ever owned

-great overall picture quality -big although the vertical is a bit small -IPS is amazing

-freesync is not easy to use, must have a dp cable. -sound through dp is unreliable, because of this I'm going back to a dvi cable -the 29" is a bit small on the vertical wish I had bought the 34" version the 200$ difference would most likely be worth it.

Great monitor

I'm quite happy with this monitor. I use it mostly for productivity, and the ability to have two or even three instances of a web browser open side-by-side is a big plus for the work I do. As I said above, the split-screen software doesn't include a...

Nice wide resolution Matte screen reduces glare and gives the monitor a premium appearance No stuck pixels Price was right

Some backlight bleed Included split screen software not compatible with Linux

such a beautiful monitor

this is a nearly perfect monitor, the only change to make it perfect would be a gloss screen

>beautiful beautiful monitor, I got this monitor as I am what is commonly called a 'prosumer', I game and I run professional applications, and this monitor does it perfectly, the color is so wonderful >glorious widescreen, when people say they...

well, this is more of an issue on my end, I got this monitor to run as a second monitor to another (16:9 21.5inch IPS monitor, also 1080p), it is more of a failing on my end, one of the reasons I choose this monitor is that the panel appeared to be the...

Great for multi-tasking. Good for gaming

Do not get a 21:9 monitor less than 29". I think the 34" might be the better option, but for half the price this monitor is superb

multi-tasking game changer. If you are on the fence just go for it.

Not optimized for all games. The games that don't support 21:9 still look great. I dont notice the black bars on the side at all and just feels like im using a regular aspect ratio monitor.
