Mag Innovision GML2226 review: Mag Innovision GML2226

Mag Innovision GML2226

The Mag GML2226 is low priced with decent movie and games performance.

The Mag GML2226 and includes only a VGA cable, has an unattractive default preset, and lacks ergonomic options.

The Mag GML2226 is a budget monitor with decent performance, but there are better options out there.

Black looks grey

Overall, for the price, it's not a bad monitor.

Mag makes a decent monitor

This is really why i am posting a comment.....The black on this monitor is horrible! It's more grey then anything else. Very splotchy

MAG GML2226 Black 21.5" LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor DVI 1080P Ultra Slim (<1") 250 cd/m2 DC 10,000,000:1(1000:1)

This thing is much bigger then I expected. dwarfs my heavyweight monitor by a good bit. The colors are fairly good after messing around, as well as the images are crisp

The mounting plate is sturdy enough, but the screw took a little bit of wd40 to get in there properly. No installation CD and the company website seems to give me some rather loud warnings from my spyware programs, and I couldn't even download a driver...

OK pic quality for price, but poorly placed VESA 75 mounting holes

My unit came with one dead pixel, but that didn't bother me as much as the poor placement of the VESA mount in relation to the power port.

Very thin, very light. Good value for money, considering LED backlighting

As one reviewer noted, the 75mm x 75mm VESA mount is poorly placed: Most multi-monitor stands include larger mounting plates/brackets compatible with VESA 75 and 100 mm ; The placement of the VESA screw holes in this particular monitor will cause the...

6 months later... Good Price, horrible picture

Coming up on 6 months of using 2 of these LED 21.5" MAG GML2226 and wow, just wow.. the blacks are horrid, light bleed is absolutely horrible. Looks as though "grey sploches" are over the screens. Friends saw displays for 1st time a few days back and...

Lightweight, relatively thin bezels, very thin (depth),.. Cheap. (WARNING: you get what you pay for)

DVI/VGA inputs are poorly placed, uses 75mm x 75mm VESA mounts instead of more common 100mm. Causes installation issue with many (if not most) mounting systems that require modification of the mounting bracket. LED bleed through is absolutely horrible....

ouch

THERE WAS A GIANT YELLOW LINE RUNNING DOWN THE SCREEN. now i have dealt with A LOT of monitors. many of them were old and bad. but i have never had an issue like that. if i could get a refund i would because this tells me there was some terrible...

the stand isn't as bad as people say. it's really thin. it looks pretty sexy. it's 1080p and cheap with LED backlighting

something about the picture quality seemed off. also, i was expecting LED backlighting to be better. oh, and there was A GIANT YELLOW LINE running through my screen. that's why it gets two eggs. aside from the GIANT YELLOW LINE running down the screen,...

This is my review title

Most of the problems are one time things you'll probably only notice when you're setting up the monitor. Nothing really worth taking off an egg for, unless this stand just falls apart somehow (probably not too unlikely, actually...). I didn't have any...

Good price, especially with a 10% discount ; Nice, sleek look with a small bezel ; Flat stand, so you can put stuff on it ; Good display from what I can see ; Very thin and pretty light

Like others are saying, the stand is junk. Mine wobbles a little and the hinge wobbles a little too. There are also no ways to adjust it from what I can see ; Ports are badly placed; it's kind of difficult to connect cables because they go...

MAG GML2226 Black 21.5" LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor DVI 1080P Ultra Slim (<1") 250 cd/m2 DC 10,000,000:1(1000:1)

I wish I could have bought the replacement for it, but it's too late now. Even when you take good care of a product, things can still go wrong.

Low price, especially for LED backlighting. No light bleed affecting the border. High resolution with quick refresh

The color setup is a bit tricky and can take a while ; I owned this monitor for about three months before a yellow line permanently made itself at home on my screen

Nice & bright

Bought two of these, one had a bad pixel (red stuck on). Not sure why others think the stand on this is bad? It's very sturdy, no chance of breaking or tipping like some other LCD's I've had/used.

Bright and clear display. No ghosting. Game-play is nice out of the box

Needs some color adjustments for photoshop but thats to be expected
