Samsung SyncMaster 910 review

Samsung SyncMaster 910

Highly adjustable; decent price.

No speakers or headphone jack; pivot and image-adjustment software is for PCs only.

The SyncMaster 910T is a sharp-looking 19-inch LCD with good image quality, lots of adjustability options, and a decent price.

Samsung SyncMaster 910T

The SyncMaster 910T is a solid performer, and it's priced the same as some 17-inch models, making it all the more attractive.

Attractive price. Portrait mode. Screen settings can be adjusted from the computer keyboard. Generally good image quality.

Weak printed documentation. Poor performance with analog signal in light-gray areas. Slow pixel response time.

The specified 25-ms average pixel response speed is relatively slow in this day of 16-ms panels. We observed moderate smearing of moving images. If video or gaming is your bag, you may want to look elsewhere. But all told, the SyncMaster 910T is a...

Samsung SyncMaster 910T

At $600, this inexpensive 19-inch digital LCD display is a very good all-around performer with a very nice price. Our testing revealed viewing angles with no pronounced color shifts as well as very legible text, even at small point sizes. Using our...

Good color integrity at all angles ; legible text at small point sizes ; can pivot ; thin bevel design ; internal power supply

Undersaturated colors

The SyncMaster 910T has a thin bezel design that features an internal power supply, and the ability to pivot (though you may need to buy a new graphics card that supports Pivot in OS X), rotate left to right, slide up and down and tilt forward and back

204T excellent monitor

i did not buy it from new egg. i wanted to, but they did not have the silver model, which looks very nice and that was the one i wanted. it is noticably larger than a 19" i was thinking about the 204B, but in the store the viewing angle was noticeable...

large screen. very clear and sharp. easy set up. calibrated just fine out of the box. don't have to deal with widescreen compatability issues. nice crisp colors, and dark blacks. 1600x1200 .255 pitch. lots of adjustability with the magic tune program....

none so far, ecept that it is hard to find in silver now. would have been icing on the cake if it had a lower ms response time, but 16 is not too bad for most regular/normal gamers. hardcore gamers may want ridiculous low ms, though, like minus something

None that I can think of

Fine replacement for 20" CRT

Replaced an 8+ year old monster 21" CRT (which barely handled 1600x1200) with this LCD display and got back most of my desk.

Works fine for me. Able to A/B switch between the DVI and VGA connectors with a single pushbutton on front (important to me, as I share this screen between a Mac and a PC). Text looks pretty good. No dead pixels on mine

A bit on the expensive side compared to recent 19" monitors, but they're usually not 1600x1200

SAMSUNG is SUPER

NewEgg is very accomodating. I will always look to this company for all of my computer needs!

There is a wide selection in screen resolution. With lower than recommend resloution, the characters are formed well, which did not happen on the Spectre. Does everything you want in a monitor or LCD screen well. Very satisfied

Very minor, but the adjustable height could set a little lower on the lowest setting
