Sony PremierPro SDM-P234

If money is no object, and you want lots of pixels on your panel, the Sony SDM-P234 is the way to go. It looks almost as good with the power off as it does on, and it has a number of cool features.

Gorgeous, wide aspect, high-resolution display. Cool lighted capacitance switches. Three signal inputs, each with own stereo inputs.

Minimal printed documentation. Coating causes reflections on black screens. Primitive on-screen menu.

For this amount of money, you could buy a handful of 17-inch LCD monitors, a multiport display adapter card, and even a multipanel stand, which would give you a lot more screen real estate and more pixels. But it still wouldn't have the cool factor of...

Excellent display, but....

If the replaecment display comes with no dead pixels, I'll give it 5 eggs.

Great display. High Res, great image, mimimal ghosting

Came with about a dozen stuck pixels. One DVI port? would have been nice to plug my xbox into this bad boy too

How to fix the stretching

vivalv1000 points out that non widescreen resolutions look stretched. For example a game that displays 1600x1200 will be stretched out horizontally. I found that the picture improves dramatically by turning off stretching in the on screen menu. You...
