ViewSonic VX2237wm LCD monitor

ViewSonic's VX2237wm is reasonably good value for money and possesses a stylish design

Good value, stylish design, matte screen, crisp and accurate colours, good brightness

Speakers aren't great, stand isn't height adjustable, no HDMI, not Full HD

The ViewSonic VX2237wm LCD monitor is good value at this price, but only if you're looking for a very basic screen for use with a desktop PC.

ViewSonic VX2237wm

Retro design. ViewSonic has finally updated its OSD.

Silly speaker firing direction. Fails black level test under calibrated conditions. Side buttons with near invisible labels. Worse than usual light bleed. No scaling options.

The VX2237wm is passable considering its price range, but you can get better for cheaper if you don't need the speakers.

Like a lot of consumer products these days, ViewSonic's VX2237wm is shiny in an "oh look at the dust and fingerprints" kind of way. The piano-black, 22-inch screen is mostly gloss except for the rear of the monitor and the panel itself, which ViewSonic...
