Review: Ci73 Wired Mouse

With the exception of Apple's now-defunct single-button mouse, input devices don't get much simpler than the Kensington Ci73 Wired Mouse. It has two buttons and a scroll wheel. That's it.

The Ci73’s USB cable is a full five feet long, which is more than ample for reaching the USB port on the left hand side of your MacBook, should you be a right-handed mouser; it may even stretch all the way to the back of your Mac Pro. Unfortunately, if...

Kensington Ci73 Wired Mouse review

With the exception of Apple's now-defunct single-button mouse - beloved by Luddite Mac fans everywhere - input devices don't get much simpler than the Kensington Ci73 Wired Mouse.

The Kensington Ci73 Wired Mouse is as basic a mouse as you can find these days. It works and it’s inexpensive. If that’s all you need, then you will be happy.

Ci73 Wired Mouse review

Kensington's Ci73 Wired Mouse is about as basic as a mouse can get. But if you're looking for a no-frills input device, this is the one for you.

Inexpensive; accurate 1,000-dpi tracking; five-year warranty

No button-customisation options; tough-to-roll scroll wheel; cable is too long for mobile use; somewhat hard to control

The Kensington Ci73 Wired Mouse is as basic a mouse as you can find these days. It works and it’s inexpensive. If that’s all you need, then you will be happy.

Great Keyboard

Great key feel, holds up under heavy typing use

Price ; Big cover on the top ; Lack of status lights

Delivers what it claims

Bought this for my wife who loves her slimline keyboards. She is a writer and does an obscene amount of typing and usually ends up wearing out keyboards within a few months. I held off on the review a little to see how this one held up and so far it is...

The price is a little high compared to other keyboards in this range, but it is made up for by the extra quality that this one seems to have compared to some others that we have had in the past

great keyboard for a programmer

love the low-profile of this keyboard, excellent key feedback, makes a subtle and satisfying noise when you hit the keys ; this has probably been the best keyboard i've bought (i have a few logitech kbs and also a g15 and g19 for my gaming pcs)- for...

the only con with this keyboard is that the usb cord is relatively short, it wouldn't reach my tower on the ground. i had to also buy a 5$ cord to extend the usb length another 3 feet

Nice little keyboard

Volume control buttons even worked out of the box with Linux, which was a nice surprise.

Nice style, very slim and neat looking. Keys are just like those of a laptop, with short travel lengths and low profile, which I really prefer. Feels good and puts your hands at a decent angle when typing. Nicely done overall

No caps lock or scroll lock indicators! Perhaps they could have put a small LED inside its key like is common on laptops

its nice

puts some lights on it for the indicators for caps and what not you cheap kensington PEOPLE, every keyboard in the world has those, I think, but i guess i got what i payed for.

All i can say if your looking for a smooth transition from a laptop keyboard to a desktop BUY this. This thing can prolly get run over buy a mac truck and still work. i dumped my mountain dew on it and it still worked but was kinda sticky so i figured...

the picture for this is very misleading the keys dont light up its just a blue sticker on each key, plus there are no keys that tell you that ur caps key is on so thats annoying
