Logitech V550 Nano review: Logitech V550 Nano

Logitech V550 Nano

Solid-feeling and hefty; tiny USB receiver.

Bland design, no thumb buttons, mouse doesn't snap onto docking button securely enough.

Logitech's new V550 Nano laptop mouse adds a unique "clip and go" dock that lets you clip the mouse to your laptop's lid, but we're not sure it's a feature anyone has been clamoring for.

Review: Logitech V550 Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks

Mice are such an essential part of our computing experience that I suspect we often take them for granted. Having a comfortable and easy to use mouse can make using your computer a pleasure, and having the wrong mouse can make using your computer a...

I really like this mouse. I would have liked it more if it was a bit smaller and more portable, but for a full size mouse it has lots of great features. I especially like the Nano receiver because of how small it is. I don’t often have to go through...

Logitech V550 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks Review

The scroll wheel is the mouse's fanciest feature. As with most medium- to high-end mice, it offers four-way movement, with a left or right tilt for horizontal scrolling as well as vertical scrolling via wheel rolling. Pressing downward to click the...

Review: V550 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks

The V550 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse is a fine notebook mouse and well worth its mildly pricey admission fee.

Why my original prejudice? Well, here’s a quick note to Logitech’s packaging-design crew: Please modify either your packaging or its how-to-open instructions so that following them to the letter doesn’t result in a shard of razor-sharp plastic gouging...

Review: Logitech V550 Nano

The least expensive mouse with a MicroGear wheel but not the best.

Excellent wheel and nano receiver ; Clip is steady and works well ; Very long battery life ; Relatively attractive

Not as comfortable or full-featured as the VX despite $10 difference ; Slightly disconcerting simultaneous button presses ; Using the clip is an all-or-nothing affair with complicated removal

Until now, some of Logitech's better mousing features, particularly its extra-small Nano Receiver and its free-spinning metal scroll wheel, have been limited to high-end devices; outside of the MX 620, none of its previous devices have come with eith

Does its unique notebook docking station make Logitech's V550 Nano gimmicky or great?

Logitech v550 Nano review

A superb wireless mouse, but is it for your Mac?

Handles well ; Comfortable to use ; Compact

Need to download drivers for some functions

Handles extremely well and sports one of the smallest USB receivers we've seen
