Creative TravelSound Zen Stone (black)

The Creative TravelSound for Zen Stone is ultracompact and travel-friendly. The speakers get reasonably loud for their size and offer clear audio quality.

Bass response from the TravelSound Zen Stone is typically lacking, and the only power option is battery. The speaker unit doesn't have a dedicated volume, instead depending on those found on the player.

The Creative TravelSound Zen Stone is a fine companion for the pebblelike MP3 player: it fits in your carry-on, runs on battery, and is capable of filling a hotel room with nice, clear music.

The Creative Zen Stone has no screen, no extra features, and no built-in clip like that of the iPod Shuffle. The rated battery life is unimpressive.

The Creative Zen Stone is a fantastic choice as a secondary MP3 player or for first timers on a budget who want a simple, great-sounding device with limited features and a bargain basement price tag.

This small, cheap player is basically an iPod Shuffle for half the price.

Half the price of iPod shuffle. Small and lightweight. Good sound quality when earbuds are replaced. Simple and easy to operate.

Can't play while connected to PC. Lousy earbuds.

Creative's latest digital audio player is featherlight and really small. Like the iPod shuffle, it also lacks a display screen but touts a few advantages that easily makes it a must-have, even if you already have an MP3 player.
