Brother MFC-J4620DW

 

The Brother MFC-J4620DW is a MFP for home-office or micro-office use that can print at up to tabloid size, though you'll have to feed it one sheet at a time to do so.

Prints on single sheets at up to tabloid (11-by-17-inch) size. Compact. Can connect via Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and NFC.

Somewhat slow. Subpar graphics. Tabloid-size printing limited to feeding individual sheets. Limited paper capacity.

In our testing, the MFC-J4620DW was a bit slower than the MFC-J4510DW and other Business Smart printers we've reviewed, but its speed is still in the acceptable range for its price. We'd have liked to have seen better graphics quality from it. Still,...

Brother Multi Function J4620DW

 

This is an inkjet unit and it can also print A3 as well as the normal A4. Two sided printing as standard and as it has four separate cartridges only the required empty ones need changing so you should also save money with this unit.

Easy setup from touch menu

When printing business cards using the bypass feeder, there is poor precision. Business cards sometimes print too far to the left, other times too far to the right. Out of 7 sheets only one hit close enough to be used. Probably be OK for documents, but...

Stay with HP!

Small

Did not work out of the box. Error Message Unable to Initialize 8F, Paper Jam, no paper ever ran through printer, or Mechanical issue. I tried to get help through online help and phone could not get through to Brother without a very long wait on hold....

Best printer I've ever owned.

 

I'm sticking with Brother for my printing needs for ever if they keep making machines like this. I just hope this model isn't a fluke when it comes to greatness.

Does everything it says and does it well, and easily. Love the cloud print and NFC AND WiFi Direct. Android printing heaven. Works awesome on my HTC One M8, ASUS Nexus 7 2013, Chromebook, MSI laptop, and my custom desktop. Simply the best. No router...

Brother printers are the most bang for the buck out there today large ink cart. lower cost ink. Does the job and doesn't complain!!
