This wallet-friendly MFP isn't so hot in the performance stakes

Very cheap product ; Also reasonably priced consumables ; Three-year warranty

Big and heavy ; Disappointing print speeds ; Lacks an Ethernet port

This is a solid budget offering which is definitely worth considering, as long as you can cope with its size and sluggish print speeds.

Avoid this product. Heavy on ink. Continuously needs print head cleaned. Then breakdown with software fault. Canon should be ashamed of this product.

Takes a lot of paper so refilling is less frequent.

Compatible ink cartridges do not work properly. Tried 3 different manufacturers of compatible ink cartridges and they were all streaky to the point where the cleaning cycle was required per page. The original inks from Canon are prohibitively expensive...

LCD screen and menu system good for setup and other functions

Excessive nozzle cleaning and very slow maintenance sequences. Cartridges fiddly to install and replace.
