Canon PIXMA iP5300 printer

The Canon PIXMA iP5300 is one of the third generation of PIXMA models that are pushing competitors such as HP, Lexmark and Epson to the limit in terms of their speed, print quality and versatility out of the box. Apart from the slightly frustrating...

Print quality, speed, design

Problematic installation and set up, print head alignment issues

Apart from the slightly frustrating niggles with the set up process, it is fair to say this printer produces professional quality A4 prints at a very reasonable price, output is fast and, thanks to the ChromaLife100 inks, prints will last up to...

Canon PIXMA iP5300 review

Cheaper inkjets may give decent print quality and acceptable speed, perhaps even a few nice features, but if you want the absolute best you're going to have to pay a bit more.

Hold on to your wallet - Canon's making you an offer you'll find hard to refuse. Fantastic quality prints at incredibly fast speeds, and it won't cost the Earth to run. either.

Outlook The PIXMA iP5300 is certainly a big step up from the iP5200. With the introduction of new printing technology and features, it would certainly live up to its status as Canon's new flagship photo printer. This Pixma is aimed at professionals and...

Canon Pixma iP5300

The Macworld team take a look at a selection of colour inkjet printers offering the best for photographers and businesses alike.

Duplex printing, two separate paper trays, additional black ink, PictBridge support, it was the fastest printer in our tests

This printer would have benefited from a card reader at this price

The Canon Pixma iP5300 uses the same Fine inks as the iP2500, but it has five colours, including two blacks, all in individual ink cartridges. Resolution is 9,600 x 2,400dpi, and it certainly produced some excellent quality prints in our tests. It's...

Canon iP5300 : Canon Pixma iP5300

This black box can – should it be required - occupy a very small space. However the quality of images and text printed are good, so if you have a only a small space this printer could fit it.

The is 44x30x12cm when closed however add another 22cm to the last figure when paper is in the vertical tray at the rear waiting to be used. I discovered the small footprint when moving some stuff around during a reorganisation and for most of the...
