If you're looking for an affordable multifunction inkjet printer that can produce great looking photos as well as laser-sharp text, the Canon Pixma MP480, with its dust-resistant design and high-quality scans and copies, is hard to beat.

If you use your printer as much as I do, the large ink cartridges are the only way to go. I have had some bad experiences with refilled cartridges, and I now buy only Canon ink.

Highly recommended for people who use their printers a lot. It should be the only one produced; I see no need for the small one. I no longer try to use refilled ink cartridges as they often disappoint.

When I bought the printer it came with one black and one color ink cartridge. They were small also known as regular. I believe I have over the years bought fifty or more ink cartridges. Now the XL tank is available I use them.
