Epson Expression Photo XP-750

If you can't run to Epson's top of the range Photo Expression XP-850, the XP-750 is a value option, as it includes the best of the 850's photo features.

Wireless Direct printing, Duplex print as standard, Small desktop footprint

No powered tray retraction, Fiddly photo tray, Noisy feeding paper

Good-looking photos and scans, but text prints are mediocre and photo prints expensive

Epson Expression Photo XP-750 review - superb photo quality, offset by middling document quality

The Epson Expression XP-750 is the best here for photo quality, if you can forgive the less impressive documents

Compact yet carries plenty of paper; superb photo quality; a fast all-rounder

Expensive to buy and run; middling document quality

Still, it achieves what the Envy 120 doesn’t: it retains the quality of a multi-ink system and the flexibility of multiple paper trays in a body that’s neat and compact. It might not be as attractive, but it’s a better choice for serious photographers.

Specialist six-colour printer for photo enthusiasts

six-colour printing produces excellent photo output, Ethernet and wifi networking

text quality could be improved, not very fast

There’s room for improvement in the XP-750’s text output, so it’s not the best choice if you’re looking for a general-purpose printer for home or office use. However, its six-colour printing system does produce excellent photo output, making it a good...

This printer is able to print on card which was a requirement for me. The quality is excellent. The only downside is the cost of the inks.
