Excellent color photo quality; relatively speedy; CD- and DVD-label printing.

High-maintenance nozzles; Epson makes you look elsewhere for top-of-the-line black-and-white photo quality.

A very solid medium-format printer with a couple of quirks.

Epson Stylus Photo R1800

The Epson Stylus Photo R1800 can print photos at up to 13 by 44 inches at true photo quality.

Photos are true photo quality. Prints photos up to 13 by 44 inches. Also prints on CDs and DVDs. Photos said to be lightfast for more than 100 years.

No memory-card slots.

Epsonâ-'s Stylus Photo R1800; A New 13â-- Wide UltraChrome Ink Consumer Printer

The many shades of brown in the raw wood walls of this far north ghost town as well as the shades of spring grass in the foreground and fir trees in the background all reproduce with excellent fidelity in this print made with the Epson Stylus Photo R1800.

The Epson Stylus Photo R1800 sets the standard for versatile, high-performance, large-format desktop photo printing. It's speedy and it produces beautiful prints. It doesn't get any better than this, and certainly not for this price.
