Epson Stylus Photo RX585

 

The RX585 is the more expensive of the two Epson printers reviewed here, but at £129.99 is still affordable enough for most home users

Very good photo-printing quality, with bold colours and fine detail, affordable inks will also appeal to home users

The printer driver software is too inflexible and needs to provide more freedom for adjusting quality and speed settings

The inflexible printer driver and relatively low speed are a bit disappointing, but the RX585's impressive quality do make it a good choice for photo-hobbyists.

Epson Stylus Photo RX585 all-in-one inkjet printer

 

The Epson Stylus Photo RX585 looks nice and is easy to use, and its CD-printing feature is unique. Still, its limited paper handling and slow, poor-quality printing on plain paper limit its value as a general-purpose device.

It does everything that I want it to do, it scans, prints documents, it even prints my CD's perfectly. Get rid of your old scanner and printer, get one of these and get more desk space into the bargain.

very stylish printer with all the functions to go with it speed is eccellent particulaly like how it starts printing just as you have finished scanning an item

check out the size of the unit that it is ok for your desk it is larger than it looks but this is not really a bad point

The printer is good value because it includes cd/dvd printing which at the time of purchase there was not one printer in the same price range with this feature.

The ink catridges do not last long and are to expensive, the printer will not work with cartridge refills.
