Consumables nightmare

Prints have nice looking lines - when it works

This is my third HP plotter and will be my last. I was looking to replace my old plotter that I use for CAD. I was dumbfounded to find out that HP no longer sold a monochrome printer. It gets worse... A sales guy at HP told me that I could print...

Shoulda Known...

Wish I would have done the research instead of assuming that this would handle a roll of paper. Oh well. Now I have to buy an automatic roll feeder (HP part number Q1247A).

Prints *sheets* of paper fine

Doesn't come with the automatic roll feed that the 110Plus nr version does. That costs an additional five hundred bucks from HP

HEWLETT PACKARD DESIGNJET 110 PLUS 24IN 122X600

It is great to print 24x36 drawings. The color works just fine

Already one of the wheeler does not work properly, so the paper when self feeding itself on 11x17 gets jammed a bit

Low cost, Large format

This is a big, heavy printer. You need a large area for it. It's really intended for an architech for engineer who needs occasional large format prints. If you're printing a lot of 8.5x11 pages, you probably want to have another printer for that. If...

This is an relatively inexpensive large format printer. It can print on paper up to 24" wide. It prints fairly quickly. Print quality in high quality mode is very good

It seems a bit tempermental. It needs a solid base to sit on or else it thinks its print heads are misaligned due to its shaking the table

It seems a bit tempermental. It needs a solid base to sit on or else it thinks its print heads are misaligned due to its shaking the table ; It only likes really flat paper. It does a check before printing and will reject paper with any wrinkles, or...

worked untill it didn't

I use it as a CAD printer and it does do nice looking drawings. Almost looks like a lazer printer- and rendered images and photographs come out nice. It will print D sized sheets if you feed them manually and it will print C sized and smaller from the...

I've had this printer for about two years and I haven't used it that much, but it no longer feeds from the tray it makes a terrible clacking noise then it mocks you with a beep. I'ts a cheap printer I should have spent the money on a real plotter. And...
