HP Photosmart C6280 All-in-One review: HP Photosmart C6280 All-in-One

HP Photosmart C6280 All-in-One

Built-in networking; built-in duplexer; dedicated photo paper tray; competitive print costs; good color scans.

Print quality needs improvement; slow print speeds; menus aren't intuitive and easily navigable (some features are unnecessarily buried); no PictBridge port; lacks advanced copy and memory card options; no scannable index.

The HP Photosmart C6280 lacks many of the features that make a photo all-in-one compelling, and its print quality disappoints. Your $200 is better spent on a different all-in-one.

HP Photosmart C6280

Affordable photo printing

Scan to' feature, inexpensive consumables

Quality inconsistent

The latest addition to HP’s Photosmart line-up, the C6280 is a capable multi-function for families and home users. However, it has quality issues and lacks CD/DVD printing.

HP Photosmart C6280 All-in-One printer

The HP Photosmart C6280 is the company's mid-range All-in-One printer aimed at photo enthusiasts and small offices / home office workers up and down the country. But is it any good? We get printing to find out. At £199 the C6280 is more expensive that...

Print quality, memory card reader, six inks

No Wi-Fi, scanner flatbed awkward to use

At £199 the C6280 is more expensive that its older C6180 but disappointingly doesn't come with as many features. The lack of Wi-Fi is a very strange omission for a business printer, as is the document feeder on the top for scanning multiple pages....

HP PhotoSmart C6280 review

The PhotoSmart C6280 is one of the more expensive multifunction photo printers around, but it's a well designed device that provides a good combination of performance, quality and features.

There’s a little room for improvement in photo-print quality, but even so, the HP PhotoSmart C6280's all-round performance, quality and good Mac support make it a good choice for anyone that needs a reliable, high-quality printer for their office.

HP Photosmart C6280 All-in-One

The HP Photosmart C6280 lacks many of the features that make a photo all-in-one compelling, and its print quality disappoints. Your money is better spent on a different all-in-one.

Built-in networking ; Built-in duplexer ; Dedicated photo paper tray ; Good colour scans

Print quality needs improvement ; Slow print speeds ; Menus aren't intuitive or easily navigable ; Lacks advanced copy and memory card options ; No PictBridge port ; No scannable index

HP backs the Photosmart C6280 with a standard one-year warranty and you can chat live online with tech support, also 24-7. HP's site has drivers, software downloads, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides, as well.

HP PhotoSmart C6280

Multifunction Printers offer impressive print quality, and require less space than a separate scanner, printer and fax. Macworld takes a look at six of the best.

Solidly built printer that provides good performance and quality, along with good Mac support

Colours on photo prints could be bolder, as manually adjusting colour settings soon becomes a chore

There's a little room for improvement in photo-print quality, but even so, the PhotoSmart's all-round performance, quality and good Mac support make it a good choice for anyone that needs a reliable, high-quality printer for their office.

Awesome Wireless Printer

There are not many cons with this printer, just that it doesn't connect to the network sometimes. This could be Vista compatibility issues, because we bought this when Vista was still having trouble with drivers. I think they fixed most of the issues...

1. Wireless Printer

1. Sometimes when you try to view photos from the computer, the memory card doesn't show up

Ehh

Its does what it says and says what it does

After printing a document, this thing will spend up to 30 or 40 seconds making REALLY annoying sounds as it does...well, I'm not even sure what its doing. Also, when the ink is low its little "!" light glows orange and it refuses to print! very annoying
