Konica Minolta magicolor 2400W

With a direct price of just under $400, the Konica Minolta magicolor 2400W is, for now, the least expensive color laser available—a title that will continue to shift as prices come down. More important, what you get for the price is one of the faster...

Inexpensive. Fast performance for a four-pass design. Impressively easy setup. Excellent text quality. Respectable, if not ideal, graphic and photo output

The ratings for photos and graphics are less than the best quality available from a color laser

The Konica Minolta magicolor 2400W drops the entry cost for color laser printing to its lowest level yet, while offering good to excellent output quality and better performance than most four-pass color lasers. More important, it strikes a winning...

Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400W

With its tiny size and tiny price--the lowest we've seen yet for a colour laser printer--the Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400W would fit easily into any ...

Exceptional image quality for its price

No Mac support, single 200-sheet paper tray

Great for personal use, this low-price colour laser printer produces attractive colour documents.

Best home color laser available

Much happier with 2400W than HP color lasers. Buy this printer if your budget is under $xxx.

Excellent print quality especially in photos. Lowest cost per page available

Loud, and uses alot of electricity compared to other color lasers

Labels jam constantly, must shut unit off

This printer is far lower cost than other color lasers. As long as you are willing to put up with its glitches...

Cheap color laser printer, works well on plain paper

Pickup does not handle labels well at all, must shut off unit several times as it will not recognize OEM toner drums the first time. Will not do 4500 pages on high capacity toner more like 500-750

Networking This Printer

Good Overall Performance!

After reading so many reviews saying you couldn't network this printer, I never tried (I do have a Print Server). I was thinking about buying the 2430DL because I wanted my wife & daughter to be able to use this printer too. After seeing taladon's...

So far so good

Good printing, but jams

The networking model of this unit (2430DL) is already phased out by Konica...so I guess this is next? Its still so new I cant get toner refills/remanufactured cartridges! 1500 prints at 5% is actually 500 prints at 5% or less.

GREAT printing. This replaced my 2300w that ran out of ink (Cheaper to buy a new one than 4 cartridges). Use for DVD cover printing, only had 2 misprints in 2000+ dvd covers

Never got the rebate, Konica has no record of it despite USPS receipt of delivery, dont know what went wrong there... Paper jams OFTEN (1 in 200 feeds) no matter what kind, what weight, or how much is in the unit. Will NOT print well on glossy laser...

Good On DVD Covers

Cheap,Prints way better than I expected. I dont bother with photo paper. This thing makes plain paper look good, and I use the lowest quality setting.

I have this same printer, all I use it for is printing DVD covers It performs flawlessly. It is a bit noisy. My first laser printer so I cant realy compare it to others. Im never going back to ink jet for printing any kind of graphics again. Laser is...

Only the network thingy. Im not bothered by it

Not for Networking

This printer is fast and makes nice quality copies, but

Don't buy this printer if your interested in networking it. It is supposed to work with a print sever from SEH, a German company, who does not have tech support in the US. I e-mailed SEH back and forth for 5 days trying to install this on the network...

KONICA MINOLTA magicolor 2400W 5250220-100 Workgroup Up to 20 ppm 2400 x 600 dpi Color Laser Printer

To replace the print cartridges cost more that what I paid for the printer. It is cheaper to buy a new printer than purchase the refills.

After playing with it, I finally got it to work properly. Good for printing graphics for a business

This printer had very very bad text & graphics when you use the plain paper setting. I changed it to the thick stock paper setting and it worked fine

Does not work with print servers

This printer does a fantastic job printing in color and b/w. It's fast and efficient, and not all that hard to install

Makes clunky noises when setting up to print. Then, when printing, the noises stop. Big minus: this printer cannot be networked with a print server. I had an Epson Stylus Photo 960 shared, then added this printer. Tried to work out the bugs for hours,...
