Lexmark E250dn

This printer has all the right features, but it prints text slowly.

Built-in duplexer; network-ready; fast graphics prints; high-quality prints; eco-friendly features.

Slow text printing; somehow high cost-per-page; no LCD.

Lexmark E250dn is an inexpensive, high-quality monochrome laser printer. If you need the fastest text prints, however, look to the competition.

Lexmark E250dn

The E250dn features a 30-pages-per-minute rating at a price suitable for a small office.

Fast. Network connector. Built-in duplexer. Reasonably high-quality text and graphics.

Photo quality is a little lower than what most monochrome lasers offer.

Lexmark E250dn Laser Printer Review and Prices

The Lexmark E250dn monochrome laser printer offers a number of attractive features, but its per-page printing costs are higher than average. Still, this model performs well and proves to be an overall good purchase.

Lexmark E250dn review

As the two letters at the end of the model number suggest, this little Lexmark printer has both network connection and duplex as standard.

Lexmark E250dn

A versatile, high-quality printer with a wide range of features

This electric speed is matched with mostly superb quality. Text is, oddly enough, slightly weak when compared to the other budget mono printers on test: the only thing keeping the Lexmark from a perfect six stars in that respect. But in practice you...

quiet, works as advertised

networking works as advertised - grabbed a DHCP IP address from my router without any trouble. networked to 4 vista machines (3 via wireless, 1 via wired ethernet), had no trouble setting it up ; duplex printing works out of the box - just remember to...

no LED screen, but i haven't had any jams or malfunctions yet so I'm not missing it so much

Great little networkable printer

I do not print a lot at home but inkjet if you calculate it out is over $1000 a gallon. I mostly print text and forms so black ink laser is a huge money saver plus being networked I can access it from whatever computer I wish.

Great print quality for printing text ; Automatic duplexing ; Not one jam yet ; Still on starter toner container that came with the unit

Graphics print quality isn't so good but that is to be expected in this class of printer

A Very Good Printer

Lexmark web site seems to have reasonable tech support for driver updates.

A very good printer for B&W text and graphics, with PCL 5e Emulation, PCL 6 Emulation, PostScript 3 Emulation. Networking and Duplexing to boot! Very fast. Installation was a breeze on our Macs

Can't set to Duplexing by default, must select in print dialogue for each job but it's easy enough to do. No color, but we rarely need it
