Lexmark X4650

Lexmark's $130 X4650 color inkjet multifunction printer occupies a crowded area of the market, where competitors strive to stuff more features into a smaller, less costly package. Though the X4650 has its good points, it falls short in features and...

Very inexpensive; speedy text printing ; Speedy text printing

Very slow printing graphics; pricey inks ; Disappointing service and reliability

Even if the inks weren't so costly, this unit pales next to like-priced, better-featured models.

Lexmark X4650

The Lexmark X4650 gives you the convenience of Wi-Fi in an inexpensive home AIO.

Built-in Wi-Fi. Prints, scans, copies. Scans to e-mail, using PC's e-mail program.

Slow. Text and photos are somewhat subpar for an inkjet.

Looking For An Affordable Wireless Printer? Try the Lexmark X4650 3 in One!

Read this full in depth review to learn about some of the features that the Lexmark X4650 3 in 1 Wireless Printer offers. Buying a wireless printer allows everyone on your network to print no matter where they are in the house! It's a pretty neat...

For the $89.99 I spent, the Lexmark X4650, 3 in One Printer is a pretty impressive wireless printer. The print quality is very impressive, but the printing speeds are very slow.

Lexmark X4650

An average family multifunction

Wi-Fi connectivity, adequate print quality

Slow printing speeds, overly light scans

For the average family, the X4650 should suffice. Wi-Fi connectivity is an advantage for shared printing and print quality is adequate, but poor printing speeds will deter many people.

Lexmark X4650 all-in-one printer

The Lexmark X4650 comes in towards the top of Lexmark's range of home office printers, with the suggestion that it will accomodate the needs of students, before you get into some of the more serious beasts. But will this solve all your home printing...

Wi-Fi connection, guided installation program, scan to memory card, borderless printing, PictBridge

Large install, install failures, printing from memory card a bit limited

Overall we were impressed with the performance of the Lexmark X4650. It provides all the features that a small home office might require (it also comes with Lexmark fax software) and the print and scan performance is adequate, with impressive results...

Lexmark X4650 review

An inkjet with good wireless performance, but it lets itself down

Clear scanning ; Easy wireless setup ; Intelligent control-button layout ; Improved overall design from Lexmark.

Poor text printing ; Failed to send files to applications

Good wireless handling and overall design, but the text printing lets the unit down

Lexmark X4650 review

Lexmark has a very large range of all-in-one printers, and the X4650 sits in the middle in terms of both price and feature set. Styled in a frosted black with a silver wraparound, it's a conventional machine in lots of ways.

A decent choice for wireless printing on a limited budget, but the HP Photosmart C4580 is a better option.

Lexmark X4650 review

Finished in black with silver highlights, basic copy and scanning controls are on the right with a white on black OLED display - there's no colour LCD on offer here, as the Lexmark X4650 is aimed at the home and student market. The input tray is...

The Lexmark X4650 is easy to set up and use, is reasonably quick and has a useful auto print mode: but you'll pay for prints, and we weren't all that impressed with photo prints.
