HP Photosmart Wireless All-in-One B109

We take a look at HP's new sub-£100 all-in-one printer.

The four separate ink cartridges, with designs very similar to those used in Canon PIXMA machines, snap into the semi-permanent head and after you've printed an alignment page and re-scanned it, you're ready to go.

HP Photosmart B109a review

It has four ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) and a built-in scanner, so you can use the HP Photosmart B109a for copying documents in addition to printing them out. However, you shouldn't expect a highly refined machine for your money: it...

Overall, you get what you pay for with the HP Photosmart B109a, and that is a basic multifunction machine with an ability to print very good text documents and web pages, but which is a mediocre photo printer. It's worth considering if you're after...

Bastorial Install

Likes unfettered internet access during install which includes much scum ware. Even a major retailer sold me incorrect ink. Chip cartridges are for the benefit of HP only. This item was sold at a dumping price of less than half normal retail and I...

Photo prints well, convenient copy print and SD print.

Extremely unstable wireless connection even with locked IP. Forgets settings and likes the occasional restart to drink ink.

Great home printer.

Switched to HP from another brand and am extremely happy with its functionality. It is also a very efficient and nice looking machine.

Great for photos and has a separate tray for photo paper. Very user friendly. Touch screen.

Only comes in piano black which shows dust.
