Samsung Xpress C1860FW review

The Samsung Xpress C1860FW has almost all the features we want, but the lack of duplexing at its high retail price point really drags down the score.

We like the C1860FW. It’s fast and the output is really good-looking – even with photo prints, which Samsung doesn’t claim as a feature. But it’s fairly expensive for a home MFP. We could forgive the price if the MFP offered less-expensive supplies and...

Samsung Xpress C1860FW

A colour laser multifunction printer with direct wireless and print from mobile functions

NFC Tap and Print ; Front-panel USB ; Eco-driver

Awkward multi-purpose feed ; 20s pre-processing ; Bangs and clunks

If you own a Samsung Galaxy S phone, you don’t even need to download Samsung’s mobile print app, as the devices can see this machine directly and print to it.

Samsung Xpress C1860FW review

Samsung's C1860FW is great if you want a colour laser MFP for a small office, but an equivalent inkjet is cheaper to run

Samsung Xpress SL-C1860FW review

  (Rating Hidden)

The chunky Samsung Xpress SL-C1860FW all-in-one colour laser printer is a beast of a machine and prints quickly to live up the demands of small office or home office. It turns out superior printed charts, but is quality good across the board? We've...

Cheap and chearless

Would not recommend this product to a friend.

Can't think of any.

Fair to poor color. Damages page by folding over the one corner when printing double sided. Temperamental and often needs to be power cycled. Print and scan functions are not stable

BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Works good for about two weeks at a time.

This unit almost burned down our building twice in the first 3 months. The paper wraps around the fuser and the fuser keeps heating. Luckily we were there to catch it as white smoke was pouring out and the unit was going to catch on fire. Sent the unit...

Fairly big but does all I need

Can scan to multiple image formats and .pdf. Fast. Great quality crisp prints. Wireless setup is working well with printing from iPhone natively working flawless. Google cloud print is awesome.

Large. Heavy. Scan to desktop on Mac a little hard to setup.
