Xerox WorkCentre 3220/DN

The Xerox WorkCentre 3220/DN is packed with features, including some of particular interest to small offices.

Prints, scans, faxes over network. Standalone copier, fax machine, and e-mail sender. Reasonably high-quality output.

Installation guide covers basic installation only, ignoring important setup steps.

Unless you're specifically looking for the feature, in short, you may never find out about it. And even if you know it exists, you have to solve the puzzle of where to find the setup instructions before you can get it working. Fortunately, once you get...

Xerox WorkCentre 3220DN review

Xerox introduced two new WorkCentre printers - the 3210 and 3220 - in mid June as the perfect new models for the professional individual or a small workgroup. With print, copy, scan, fax and e-mail functions, print speeds up to 30 ppm, and a monthly...

Compact design ; Good quality in normal, toner saving modes ; Decent print speeds in both modes ; Helpful features (front side USB, Scan-to, Fax-to)

Initial cost ; Lack of menu navigation report

That’s why we decided to award the Xerox WorkCentre 3220DN with the PrinterComparison.com Editor's Choice designation. Other than a slightly steep initial cost (which most heavy printers will make up in cost per print savings over the long run) I have...

Xerox WorkCentre 3220 review

The Xerox WorkCentre 3220 mono laser multifunction is significantly smaller than the DocuPrint C1190FS, making it easier to move and access. Though you get less memory and a slightly slower processor than the C1190FS, there are almost no other side...

Cheap consumable costs, fast printing and a bevy of scan options make the Xerox WorkCentre 3220 mono laser multifunction viable for small workgroups and businesses. Network protocol and security support could be better, however, and the lack of a...

Xerox WorkCentre 3220 review

The Xerox WorkCentre 3220 is cost-effective and offers impressive performance.

Inexpensive consumables; fast printing; several scan destination options; good file format support

No secure print function; network security options are lacking; additional memory modules are expensive

Xerox WorkCentre 3220 review

The Xerox WorkCentre 3220 is cheap, but that doesn't mean it's a bad printer. It's an entry-level mono laser multifunction that offers plenty of scanning options and has inexpensive consumables.

Light print quality is the new dark

The MFP works very well as does the automated software. The TCO is great since you can buy a cartridge that yields @4,500 pages BUT

We adjusted the print and copy output setting to the darkest possible. There are three settings; economical, normal and dark. At normal you can barely make out the hard-copy image. At dark you can see the hard-copy image but think somebody set it to...

great product

Someone posted that the fax only works over analog phone lines and seems to be really mad about that. For the non tech savvy you should know that all fax machines only work on analog phone lines and that is not an issue with this model in particular.

works well as advertised

Great for 1980's homes

New Egg was terrific about an RMA on this. Love doing business with them.

Nice footprint for home office. Never tried the printing function or scanning so I can't comment on them

The Fax only works on ANALOG phone lines!!!! Who has an analog phone line in 2012??? You'd only know this after 20 minutes on the phone with Xerox customer support

Good Printer/Copier

I bought this printer to replace a aged monochrome lazer printer. Much better quailty and performance. I don't use the fax or email so I don't have an opinion about those features.

Small foot print, light weight, super easy setup and fairly quick printing

Good but multifunct at the same time-not

good but multifunction at the same time--not. Have had for less than 1 mth and both quiet and reliable. However will not perform 2 functions at the same time. One function must end, eg copying before incoming fax can be taken.
