Xerox Phaser 3600/N

Like most other expensive monochrome laser printers, the Xerox Phaser 3600/N is built to churn out text pages fast. But this hefty unit has considerably more to offer than many others, starting with its thoughtful design and wealth of expansion...

Great design; helpful troubleshooting ; Generous paper capacity; cheap toner

Expensive ; Sluggish printing graphics

The Phaser 3600/N is well designed and uses reasonably priced toner. It's expensive to buy, but the machine's quality helps justify the price

Xerox Phaser 3600/N Printer Review

Great design; helpful troubleshooting ; Generous paper capacity; cheap toner

Expensive ; Sluggish printing graphics

You get a lot of good stuff for the price; shell out an extra $100 for the duplex-equipped model.

Xerox Phaser 3600/DN

Rated at 40 pages per minute, the Xerox Phaser 3600/DN can serve nicely as a monochrome laser workhorse.

Fast. Reasonably high-quality output. Ample standard paper capacity with a 600-sheet input. Automatic duplexing.

Limited paper-handling options, with a 1,100-sheet maximum and no finisher, stacker, or sorter.

Xerox Phaser 3600N review

But the hefty Xerox Phaser 3600N has considerably more to offer than many others, starting with its thoughtful design and wealth of expansion options - which give it an edge.

The Xerox Phaser 3600N is well designed and uses reasonably priced toner. It's expensive to buy, but the machine's quality helps justify the price.

Good printer, minor issues

This printer is doing quite well for us. Just minor issues (listed in the cons) that prevent it from being perfect. Some bad engineering: hit the STOP button to proceed printing in manual tray. bad thinking.

Prints well, toner seems pretty good too

Manual tray guides don't set to letter size correctly. The LCD slowly filled in gray, till finally all gray. when printing to manual tray, you have to hit the stop button to go

Useless!

Cheap, but there's a reason

This printer is not a network printer. I have to reinstall the drivers every time I want to print a page. I have a tiny network of two XP computers and a Windows 7 netbook. Every time I print from a different computer I have to reinstall drivers....

Xerox is great.

Beautiful printer. Heavy printer. Well built printer. Network installation was a breeze. I have a Windows Vista machine, a Windows 7 computer, a SUSE 11.2 Linux box and a MAC laptop all sharing this printer. I print duplexed documents that total 300+...

Xerox Phaser 3600N ($649-$100 Savings=$549, Ends 9/30)

Great for about 40 days then jams on top, misfeeds from tray, and the toner cost (that could have just been us though.) Xerox support was no real help. Swapped it out with a replacement that lasted about half as long (refurb?).
