Xerox Phaser 7100/DN

The Xerox Phaser 7100/DN color laser printer can churn out high-quality photos and graphics at up to tabloid size for smaller offices.

Low price for its capabilities. Prints at up to tabloid size. Very good photo and graphics quality. Auto duplexer. Good speed. Relatively fast at duplex (two-sided) printing.

No port for USB thumb drive.

If you don't have a need for duplex printing, the Xerox Phaser 7100/N offers everything else that the 7100/DN has, for $200 less. But the 7100/DN provides even better output quality, as well as two-sided printing, and is an easy pick as Editors' Choice...

Xerox Phaser 7100/N

The Xerox Phaser 7100/N can churn out high-quality photos and graphics at up to tabloid size for small to mid-sized offices.

Very good graphics quality. Above-par photos. Good speed. Prints at up to tabloid size. Low price for a tabloid color laser.

No port for USB thumb drive.

Although the Xerox Phaser 7100/N can't match the Phaser7500/DN in features and output quality, you can get it for less than half the price, a bargain for a tabloid color laser printer. So while the 7500/DN remains the Editors' Choice as a high-end...

Meh! Consumable (toner cartridges, imaging units, transfer unit, fuser) costs make up for a relatively low entry cost multiple times. Need to replace the top fuser fan? You'll need plenty of patience and manual dexterity. The printer could have been...

yuk. incredibly expensive to keep running, miserable to replace the toner and image drums, read messy. many other problems. I'd stay away from this one. the only plus is when it is all working, the out put is pretty good, but not worth the aggrevation.
