BenQ TK850 4K projector review

 

The BenQ TK850 is a nifty projector for watching sports matches at home – and boy is it bright.

So, so bright Excellent HDR Sports Mode

No streaming apps No Dolby Vision or HDR10+ Minimal video noise

The BenQ TK850 is a stunning example of a 4K HDR projector with the brightness to do its picture justice. You’ll have to make do without many smart features but, if that’s not an issue, you should have little reason not to enjoy what the TK850 offers.

This is an upgrade from Optoma 1080p projector and I'm sort of regretting it. First off picture with 4k source is great and with 1080p is as good as old projector, the problem is 23.976hz material ie blue rays, most of Netflix, for some reason this...

Stunning budget projector

 

I decided to upgrade my rather out dated Sony DPL for the BenQ TK850 This is a stunning projector with vivid and sharp images the blows the Sony out of the water. Have a look on YouTube for so honest review. Definitely worth a purchase

Reasonable quality in dark ambient conditions

 

I bought this after reviews suggested it was excellent in bright rooms or outside in gardens. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations when used outside during daylight hours. Evening viewing was ok.
