Optoma EP7150 DLP Front Projector Review

This is one of our first projector reviews that falls into the “ultra-portable” category. Weighing in at just under 3 pounds and measuring less than 9-inches in width, the EP7150 is in a class all by

Ultra-portable ; Can be used to signal the space shuttle in orbit (very bright) ; Laser pointer remote with “mouse” functionality ; Built-in 1W speaker for multimedia use ; USB connectivity for limited desktop control via included remote

No direct component video inputs (can use VGA adapter cable, not included) ; At brightest levels, colors desaturated ; Intrusive fan noise (Eco mode doesn’t lessen)

Great picture quality and brightness. Easy to travel with

Didn't even think to notice if the projector had a height adjustment. My own fault but if you buy something this expensive you would think that they would include a $1 part to allow for adjustment of the projection angle. Guess I will have to settle...

Optoma EP7150

Easy to use, very compact and lightweight, very bright crisp image

Cost, especially of replacement bulbs, but that is true of any projector - they are seriously overpriced.
