Panasonic PT-AE7000 vs. Epson Home Cinema 5010

It's nice to have two mostly new projectors facing off. I think you'll find them to be roughly comparable, as the dominant 3LCD projectors in the price range. That said, the PT-AE7000 and the Home Cinema 5010 each have some very nice features and...

Both features work as advertised, and both bring their own benefits. It may be one of these lights your fire, and makes a critical difference, however for the vast marority, these are features they likely won't use, or won't consider important

Panasonic PT-AE7000

In the US, this projector is usually referred to as either the PT-AE7000 or the PT-AE7000U. Overseas, it's the PT-AT5000e. We'll primarly use the AE7000 designation, but for variety, you'll see the PT-AE7000U moniker, as well

A very bright "brightest" mode, pretty much a "light cannon", and good brightness for 3D, the first $3K+ projector we've said that about ; Very clean 3D in most modes, three brightness settings ; 3D glasses come in 3 sizes, and there's an optional...

Short warranty - 1 year Parts/labor, 2000 hours maximum use. Even promotional, free 1 extra year extension for registering (offer through 3/31/12), though, still has the total 2000 hour limit, Heavy users will run out of hours long before 2 years ;...

The end. We hope this has helped you. More content and images, content being added though 11/14/11

Panasonic PT-AE7000 home theatre projector

This behemoth projector is for cinemaphiles only

Excellent video quality in 2D ; Jump in brightness over previous models ; Good 3D clarity and performance

Large brightness drop in 3D ; Noticeable fan noise in high brightness mode

Panasonic’s AE7000 projector is one of the first 3D LCD projectors available to home cinema enthusiasts. It’s an excellent 2D projector, and definitely one of the best we have seen for watching 1080p Full HD movies. If you want to watch 3D video it’s...

Panasonic PT-AE7000 Review

Over the last couple of years, the price of projectors has gone down considerably with quite a few of them ...

The Panasonic PT-AE7000 is available in India at an MRP of Rs. 2,50,000. The projector is classy in design and although a tad on the larger side, can still compliment a person’s home. Alternatively, if one needs it for an office, then this model will...

Panasonic PT-AE7000

If 3D is your bag, the PT-AE7000 is definitely worth checking out. It's a one-trick pony, but it pulls that one trick off fairly well.

Preview: Panasonic PT-AE7000

Late in September I headed over to a boutique cinema on Auckland's North Shore to check out Panasonic's PT-AE7000, 'the world's first LCD full HD 3D home projector'.

Quality, high performance video.

A very easy to projector to setup and quite flexible with its placement options due to the mortorised lens shift in the horizontal and vertical ranges. Picture quality on standard DVD and broadcast is very good but bluray is just stunning. Bluray 3D is...

Flexibility in setup, zoom lens range, auto switching screen formats from 16:9 to 235.1 to accommodate a constant height screen in 235..

Warranty period could be longer. Toggle stick used for the manual lens adjustment to set the initial position before any motorised lens adjustment. motorised focus adjustment could be easier. 3D glasses should be included.

Panasonic PT-AE7000

Picture quality is fantastic, 3d is excellent also...fairly easy to setup and not too many options to confuse you with!

The fan is a little noisy, i can certainly hear it in the quiet parts of a movie...but its not too bad! Apart from that, the only downside is the cost...but you get what you pay for...and it certainly ticks that box!
