Samsung P410M

The compact, 2.1-pound Samsung SP-P410M ($749 as of 8/7/09) is the largest of the three LED projectors we tested for our recent ultraportable projectors review. Its traveling weight is 4.2 pounds, which is much more than the BenQ Joybee GP1 and Dell...

Combination projector/media player ; 30,000 hours of LED light

Low brightness (170 lumens) ; Premium price

The stylish Samsung SP-P410M LED projector can play PC-less slide shows and videos, but its low brightness is best suited for small groups.

Review: Samsung P410M ultraportable projector

Projector's low brightness is best suited for small groups.

The P410M’s features include a media player (via its integrated USB reader slot) for running slide shows, photos, videos, and music from a USB flash drive or other portable storage device, a remote control that sports media player buttons, and a...

P410M Pocket Projector

Samsung's P410M is called a pocket projector, but you'd need a pretty hefty pair of cargo pants to stuff this bit of kit into a pocket.

While selective about what pocket it gets friendly with, Samsung's so-called "pocket projector," the P410M, is a portable-enough DLP (Digital Light Processing) projector that may be a godsend for mobile presenters, traveling photographers and even...

Samsung SP-P410M review

Here's a bright idea – switch expensive, short-lived projector bulbs for efficient LEDs

Long-lasting LED light ; USB port

Could be brighter/higher-res ; Poor selection/quality of inputs

A well-made portable projector for education or business use

Samsung SP-P410M review

Samsung's latest ultra-portable projector is the prettiest we've seen for a while, with a glossy black case flanked on each side by metal grilles.

A good LED projector with great brightness and colours. It's only flaw is the lack of audio output.

Samsung SP-P410M review

This Samsung SP-P410M projector has the same stylish design as its predecessor, the Samsung P400M - including its curvy, round edges and glossy black finish - and it offers an 800 by 600 (SVGA) resolution and a 30,000-hour lifetime for its LED light...

The Samsung SP- P410M is best suited for small-group presentations, in rooms where you can control the lighting to ensure that the screen is as viewable as possible. And even though it isn't cheap, its stand-alone ability to play PC-free presentations...

Samsung SP-P410M review

Mini projectors are increasingly popular but their small dimensions have so far not been married to big performance. Can Samsung's SP-P410M reverse the trend?

Most mini projectors lack punch and verve and just don’t have the brightness to do the job. However, the Samsung SP-P410M does enough in the performance and style stakes to justify its price.

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Small, Quiet, Easy, Lightweight

I took a star off for limited connections, and limited brightness - but otherwise it's ideal for small group pitches or even projecting inside a cube. Very good picture quality if ambient light is controlled. We have a wii on ours when not in the field...

I got this for our sales guys who make site demos and pitch concepts. It's simple enough for them to use, very small, quiet, lightweight, and it's sturdy. Good audio for such a small package

It's not so bright. Room WILL need shades drawn and it will not produce a readable image on a sunlit wall at all, but then again, it's not designed for it and the team using it know that. It's also limited on connections - VGA and Old School component...

Don't even buy this

Don't by it!

Very small

Worked only once! Was very dim, had to have all the lights off. Have spent the past 5 months trying to get it replaced by Samsung. Even had to bring NewEgg into the mix to force Samsung to support their product. I have finally convinced them to give me...
