ViewSonic PJ513DB

The ViewSonic PJ513DB projector combines a low price with decent image quality and unusually good audio.

Low cost. Reasonably light. Easy setup, with well-designed, easy-to-use menus.

No remote mouse control. Optical zoom is too meager to be useful.

ViewSonic - PJ513D

The price of digital projectors continues to drop, but a device using a Digital Light Processor (DLP) chip for under £300 is still something of a breakthrough. ViewSonic's PJ513D/DB uses the well-known Texas Instruments chip, which ...

ViewSonic's PJ513D/DB is a very fair projector for the price. For presentations, big-screen computing and game playing it's good value for money. It gives a bright picture and has most of the sockets and controls its target customers will need. It can...

Go look around at your local retailers and see how much on average projectors sell for. Then compare the next day shipping with this one and see for yourself how great of a deal this is.

Price - Compared to local stores , you cant beat this deal. I shopped around and even with the overnight shipping , this cost me $150 less ; Quality - Compared to the other 3 projectors I have at work , this one is by far the best. Built very good and...

Nothing major and barely worth mentioning , but it would have been nice if it came with a case to store it in

Best value picture to dollar you will find in any projector !

Everyone that has seen this setup thus far is astonished by how awesome it looks and even more so by the low price of the projector.

I have 2 52" plasma televisions. This projectors quality even at the display resolution of 800X600 competes. Needless to say there are other projectors, much more expensive, that will beat this one out. I have this running onto an 136" Elite screen and...

Only Composite video, S-Video, and VGA (DSUB) inputs, but I knew that when i bought it. Not really a con. I recommend getting a RGB Composite to VGA Dsub cable to run to this projector for the max resolution and detail

Great Value

Combined with Newegg's price and the rebate, this was a great buy.

I bought it for projecting slide presentations at our church. It is our second unit in the room. The other is a high cost unit. The ViewSonic color is much better. The menu is much easier to use and more complete than the other unit. (I am really...

The zoom is a joke. It is either ineffective or nonoperational

WOW Very nice product

good product, easy installation, no drivers required, works with windows7 and all previous versions, 800 x 600 but you can optimize the composite video signal, it looks great in a bright location, its temperature does not rise much, and best of...

Nothing Spectacular

Put this together with a cheap HTPC, some nice computer speakers, and a white sheet, and you have yourself a sub 1,000 dollar movie theater! Pretty sweet! I love my projector!

I have the model right before this one. It works well and give a decent picture. Easy to use, hook up. Great for getting a big screen TV for small dollars. Ability to be used for a rear projection, and/or upside down to be mounted on the ceiling....

Puts out a lot of heat. Low native resolution, but that is stated. Depending on your settings, sometimes whites can become overpowering. Don't know how long the bulb will last. It will probably be cheaper to buy a new unit when it does ; It FAILS...
