Bad

Unfortunately the days when we got good service are no longer here. I tried the LG website to get the user manual for the box but no dice. I have much better response from my Newwave SD box than this so called HD box. Menu will not even show up on the...

Says it is HD conversion from an analogue signal.

Box is stubborn and won't display the menu, or channels. It is very slow and painful to search channel by channel. Not much difference noted between HD an SD from my Newwave SD box.

Good

Overall I am very impressed with this unit. Have not had any problems.

Found it easy to operate and set up. Am using it with an LG 106cm Plasma TV and it made a significant improvement to the picture over a standard definition box. Remote works with various televisions.

Unit is a little large.

OK

Not sure if I have a problem with the box due to the signal dropping off

I found the programming and the remote easy to use and the instructions are very clear

Everytime I put my lights on or use electrical devices the signal drops off

Now that the new box has found a home for the past couple of months, the performance is as you'd expect. Very high quality video output on DVI. It's hard to look at analogue pictures now. Good quality from the component output also. Very disappointing...

Very good picture quality. Looks really good on a plasma screen. Easy to set up; mostly automatic. DVI high quality output that was the major reason for choosing this box. Reasonable size box without being too big. LG brand name gives a certain level...

Switching between channels can be slow. First two boxes failed on the DVI output. Just hoping the current box hangs out for the rest of its life.

Good performer, well priced and easy to use, Remote is easy to use. The more gadgets you have in the TV room unfortunatly means another remote control. With LG LST4100P it's remote can operate basic functions of my other LG products. It's a pity the...

Easy to look at aeasy to use and even easier to connect all the cables provided you dont want to connect Foxtel as well. The TV picture without the HD box is ordinary but when the 4100P is powered up the picture comes alive. Colour and sound are supurb.

The only problem I had, was trying to connect Foxtel cable. I had to buy an Audio/Video switch box to select the Foxtel, it's difficult to explain, but without it the audio was out of sync with the video signal on the TV. So when switching between...
