Records sharp 1080p video ; Smart Deter alerts for lurkers ; Onboard video storage ; Interacts with other Vivint devices

Expensive ; Requires existing Vivint security system ; Doesn't support Alexa, Google Assistant, HomeKit, or IFTTT ; No DIY installation option

Vivint's weatherproof Outdoor Camera Pro Gen 2 costs a lot and doesn't work outside of the company's own home security platform, but it delivers strong image quality and offers a unique intruder alert feature.
