Fitbit Luxe review: Beautifully designed, yet modest in size

The Fitbit Luxe blends a fashionable design into a minimalist package that doesn't skimp out on the usual set of metrics we come to expect with fitness trackers

“You'll fall in love with the minimalist look of the Luxe, while it tracks everything in the background.”

Fitbit Luxe review: This solid tracker’s deluxe price delivers on looks, not features

For its price, you might expect the Luxe to sit between Fitbit's Inspire and Charge models in features, but the upgrades are mostly physical.

Sleek profile ; Solid fitness tracking ; Decent battery life for a color screen

Sleek profile ; Solid fitness tracking ; Decent battery life for a color screen

The Fitbit Luxe is a dressed-up Inspire 2—you’re primarily paying for sleeker aesthetics, even when it comes to hardware upgrades. It’s still a solid tracker, but its luxury focuses on skin-deep glamour, rather than upgrades that enhance the quality of...

Fitbit Luxe Review

Like the idea of a fitness tracker, but haven't found one that suits your sense of style? The Fitbit Luxe ($149.95) might be right up your alley. It offers all the basics Fitbit is known for—including 24/7 heart rate monitoring, step counting, more...

Slim, jewelry-inspired design with a metal case Color touch screen Tracks heart rate variability and sleeping respiration Automatically tracks certain activities Robust companion app

No built-in GPS, altimeter, or NFC Blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring not available at launch

The sleek, style-forward Fitbit Luxe offers all the basics you want from a fitness tracker in a design that looks more like jewelry than gym wear.

Fitbit Luxe review: Form over function

Is it a bracelet? Or more of a fitness tracker? Read our full Fitbit Luxe review to see if the new jewlery-inspired tracker is right for you.

Attractive, customizable design

I don’t think the Luxe line is going to take over the Charge line anytime soon, but I do think it lays the groundwork for what we’ll see in future Fitbits. The AMOLED display — albeit too small — is far nicer to look at compared to the Charge 4’s...

Fitbit Luxe review: A luxurious fitness tracker for fashion-forward folks

The Fitbit Luxe is a premium fitness tracker that looks as good as it performs. It's not the cheapest or most advanced tracker, but the entire package will appeal to fashion-forward folks.

Most fashionable Fitbit ever ; Small, lightweight, and comfortable ; Beautiful color AMOLED display ; Includes six months of Fitbit Premium ; Supports Google Fast Pair on Android

Doesn't have NFC or GPS built-in ; Has half the battery life of Inspire 2 ; Comes with yet another proprietary band clasp and charger

The Fitbit Luxe is not the best fitness tracker around. It's not even the best tracker that Fitbit makes. It a beautifully designed device that does most things that most people want in a fitness tracker, all while looking better than other comparable...

Fitbit Luxe Fitness and Wellness Tracker Review

Note: This is a guest post written by Emma Crameri I hesitated before upgrading to the Fitbit Luxe, but I'm pleased to say I'm happy with my new fitness tracker. The slim design is super modern – making it my favourite Fitbit so far. The wristband is...

24/7 heart rate monitor ; Reminders to move ; Smartphone notifications ; Sleep tracking ; Includes a 6-month premium trial

Battery lasts up to 5 days ; Paying monthly for premium to see all of your data ; You can’t access your music ; No payment options ; Missing a built-in altimeter and GPS

The Fitbit Luxe is ideal for people who don’t want too much data – it’ll give you just enough for the everyday user. With bonus points for good looks.

Fitbit Luxe review

The Fitbit Luxe is equal parts activity band and wrist candy, elevated by a jewelry-inspired design and color touchscreen. For the price, we wish it offered GPS, but it still gets the fitness-tracking basics right.

Lightweight, attractive design ; Color touchscreen ; Great for basic fitness and sleep tracking ; Has Fitbit’s stress management tools

No GPS, NFC payments ; Display could be brighter

That said, for the price, I wish it had a few more tricks up its shiny sleeve. Compared to the Fitbit Inspire 2, which is $50 less, the Fitbit Luxe has a metallic casing and color screen. The Fitbit Charge 4, which costs the same as the Luxe, has both...

The Fashionable Fitbit Luxe Is a Solid Alternative to a Smartwatch

After years of terrible-looking fitness-tracking bands, Fitbit finally has one you wouldn't be embarrassed to wear.

Lightweight and comfortable. Easy on the eyes. Color touchscreen. Good at giving you a big picture view of your overall activity. Access to the Fitbit app.

Expensive for a tracker. No built-in GPS or NFC payments. Proprietary charger.

Fitbit Luxe Review: Fitbit’s best-looking fitness tracker yet

The Fitbit Luxe is a great looking tracker that includes almost all the big fitness features, making it a great option for average people.

Great design ; Health, sleep and wellness tracking ; Decent battery life

No built-in GPS ; Touch navigation is inconsistent ; Tiny display

If you care about design, the Fitbit Luxe is the way to go -- if function is your goal, Fitbit's smartwatches and Charge trackers are better options.
